3. Subscription to newsletter

 

3.1 Collection of information

When you sign up for Øresunddirekt’s newsletter, we register your name and your email. No further information is registered in connection to your subscription. We use Mailchimp to send out newsletters. When you receive a newsletter from Øresunddirekt, Mailchimp automatically register your use of the email and Øresunddirekt has access to this data via Mailchimp. We investigate e.g. if the newsletter has been opened, and if the links in it are used.

 

 

The information we collect about your use of the newsletter is solely used for statistical purposes, to improve our service, and to better adapt the content.

 

3.2 Unsubscribe from the newsletter service

If you unsubscribe from the newsletter, we delete your name and email from the contact list of newsletter receivers. You can unsubscribe at any time, and at the same time you withdraw your consent. After you have unsubscribed, you will no longer receive information from us, unless you have approved for us to contact you. If you unsubscribe from our newsletter we delete all your information. However, any anonymous data for statistical purposes will not be deleted, as they are anonymized in such a way that they cannot be recreated. If we have collected your personal data in another context, these will not be affected by your unsubscribing from the newsletter service. Therefore, we can continue to process these data based on the approval or other process method we have.

 

4. Contact with Øresunddirekt via our contact form or email

Please bear in mind that Øresunddirekt is a collaboration between government agencies and that what you write in an email could become a public document ('allmän handling'). Messages and questions sent to us via email or our contact form can, depending on the question, be forwarded to Arbetsförmedlingen (Swedish Public Employment service), Försäkringskassan (Swedish Social Insurance Agency), Länsstyrelsen (County Administrative Board), Skatteverket (Swedish Tax Agency), Region Skåne and our editorial board in Denmark. Therefore, please be careful when submitting sensitive or personal information when you send us an email.

When you contact Øresunddirekt via our contact form, your message is sent via a plugin called SendGrid. This plugin is responsible for making sure that your message is sent safely to Øresunddirekt in the form of an email. SendGrid does not save the contents of your message but it saves the surrounding meta data to ensure that your email has been delivered safely. SendGrid has an agreement under the Standard Contractual Clauses to ensure that any personal information is saved and processed safely in accordance with the EU’s general data protection regulation (GDPR).
